In 2 005, PureLight Gallery opened in an historic at 37 Third street in Turners Falls, MA. At one point in Turners history, the building housed a grocery, plumbing supply and just prior to PureLight’s opening, Desautel’s Antique and Junk Shop. After much restoration, the building became PureLight Gallery and hosted numerous exhibitions of artists from around the region and nation. Bill Wegman, Joyce Tenneson, Jay Maisel and other well known and less well known exhibited at the historic Third Street location. In 2008, PureLight Gallery, being a little early in the renaissance of Turners, had to close. We are pleased to announce that we are again opening in May of 2010.
